If there's one thing that adds to an action movie it's some kick ass martial arts and who better to bring the pain (in the absence of Bruce Lee, of course, and Jet Li, who's rumoured to be in the movie we're on about anyway) than Jackie Chan? The Hong Kong born actor has signed up to join Sylvester Stallone and the gang, bringing his trademark stylings to the table in The Expendables 3.
How has this not come about before you might ask? Well, Jackie gave the world the goss at a recent press conference in Kuala Lumpur, where he was promoting his latest movie. "Sly had invited me to be in Expendables 2 but I was too busy filming Chinese Zodiac and couldn't make a commitment to the film," he said. "But he did extend his invitation to the third movie, which I agreed on the condition that I will be appearing as more than just a minor role with a few scenes."
And that's not all, oh no. The loose lipped leading lad revealed that he may join forces with his Rush Hour co-star Chris Tucker for a new comedy, Skip Tracer. Hate to disappoint you Rush Hour fans, but apparently Chris isn't keen on making this movie a fourth in the franchise. "The script is currently viewed by Chris Tucker", Chan said. "Personally, I feel that if he were to pick it up, it would be better if we turned it into Rush Hour 4 but I do think that three movies for the franchise is a perfect ending. It would be better to start a new buddy movie with someone new."
