Is 'Little Monsters' the zombie comedy we've been waiting for? Well with this concept, here's hoping!
From writer-director Abe Forsythe ('Down Under'), 'Little Monsters' stars Lupita Nyong’o, Josh Gad and Alexander England.
England plays Dave, a washed-up, recently dumped musician who volunteers to chaperone his nephew’s kindergarten class field trip after taking a fancy to their teacher, Miss Caroline (N'yongo). But also competing for her affections is Teddy McGiggle (Gad), a world-famous kids’ show personality.
What neither the kids nor the adults expected is a sudden zombie outbreak. Now they're fighting to survive and to protect the children. Reads the synopsis: "Will Dave rise to the occasion and have a chance at Miss Caroline’s heart, or will the zombies get there first?"
The movie had its world premiere at Sundance in January. Since then it has been getting good reviews on the festival circuit.
'Little Monsters' hits Irish cinemas on November 15th.
