Bryan Singer's follow-up to X-Men: Days of Future Past is beginning to take shape.
With the title character, Apocalypse, now filled out by one Oscar Isaac, the supporting roles are next in line.
We reported previously that Chloe Grace Moretz was being eyed as a younger version of Jean Grey, played in the original trilogy by Famke Janssen.
It now appears that Moretz has passed on this and that Singer's looking at a shortlist of potential replacements for Moretz.
Top of the list is our very own Saoirse Ronan. Game of Thrones' Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark in the hit HBO series, is also a contender for the role.
Meanwhile, Mud's Tye Sheridan could potentially be cast as a young version of Cyclops / Scott Summers, who was played by James Marsden in the original series.
This isn't the first time Saoirse has taken part in an action blockbuster, having played the title character in the criminally underrated Hanna.
As for Sophie Turner, she has a commitment to the HBO series for the next couple of years - however that shouldn't prevent her from taking on the odd role here and there.
