New release Justice League brought in over €550,000 this weekend but failed to top the Irish box office. Paddington 2 held onto the number one spot earning €634,344 during its second weekend of release, this brought its Irish box office total to over €1m.
The week's other new releases, Ingrid Goes West and Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool, both failed to make the top 10 but Daddy's Home 2 came in third. The cast were in Dublin last week to promote the film, which previewed over the weekend, and will officially be released tomorrow.
Further down the list, Murder on The Orient Express and Thor: Ragnarok continue to do well with Murder crossing the €1m mark. The list is rounded out by The Lego Ninjago Movie which remains in the top 10 in its sixth week of release.
