Ian McShane can currently be seen playing Mr.Wednesday in the television adaptation of American Gods, but it looks like he will be moving back to the big screen for his next role.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor has joined the cast of the Hellboy reboot where he will star alongside Stranger Things' David Harbour. McShane will reportedly take on the role of Professor Broom, the adoptive father of Hellboy.
Hellboy is being produced by Lionsgate, and McShane is already a well-established member of the Lionsgate family having appeared in both John Wick films. The project is aiming to start shooting in September, with Neil Marshall set to direct.
