Despite the fact that Hugh Jackman's last outing as Wolverine failed to make an impression on both critics and the box office, the powers that be are believed to want not one but FOUR more movies with Logan at the forefront.

Now don't get me wrong; I enjoy an opportunity to sit down to two hours of Hugh Jackman as much as the next red blooded human being, but to stretch the Aussie actor's career defining character to such a point that even the hardcore comic book fans will feel suffocated by it would be a bad move, for Jackman's career at least.

But of course those who hold the purse strings don't care about the preservation of their star's reputation, they just want to see the money pile up. And as is always the way, where there's money to be made, you can bet your sweet ass they'll do it.

Will Hugh Jackman take the bait? Well, he has been offered 100 MILLION Dollars to see it through; certainly hard to turn your nose up at that. But who even needs 100 million dollars? It's not like he's scraping the barrell in his current financial situation. I reckon, or at least I hope, Hugh Jackman is one of those rare breeds of actors who's in it not just for the dough but for the craft.

A source close to the actor revealed to the National Enquirer: "Hugh has a big decision to make. It's not every day an actor gets offered this kind of paycheque, but Hugh vowed never to lock himself into any multi-picture deals after X-Men... He hasn't given any kind of answer yet, so at least he's considering it."
Here's hoping that with the right guidance, he'll leave Wolverine to the figurative halls of filmic fame and turn his attention to new and different projects where there's still plenty of money to be made.
