What could make one of the best Christmas movies even better, you ask? Simple: Gingerbread.
The 'Home Alone' house will always remain ingrained in our minds as the perfect setting for one of our favourite festive family movies. From the McCallister's garage doors being left open, to Kevin's elaborate sledging manoeuvre down the stairs, to the creepy basement - the house had it all.
And so, in celebration of the movie's 30th anniversary this Christmas, Disney has outdone themselves by enlisting the help of award-winning cake designer Michelle Wibowo in order to recreate the house in glorious, festive gingerbread.
Looking much too artistic to even dream of eating, as you can see from the video below, Michelle took on the challenge in breath-taking style.
Kevin can be seen with his head stuck in the snow following his sledging accident; Harry and Marv's Oh-Kay Heating and Plumbing van can be seen lurking in front of the house, with poor Marv lying down with the tarantula on his face, while the Little Nero's Pizza delivery driver has yet again knocked over the statue in the driveway.
All in all, the incredible design took Michelle 63 trees, 33 windows, 14 pizza boxes, six lamp posts, and over 300 hours to make.
