As we reported yesterday, the city of Los Angeles wanted to remember the legendary actor in the most fitting way possible.
So, last night the city’s mayor Eric Garcetti and police chief Charlie Beck teamed up to shine the bat signal on to City Hall. They were also joined by actor Burt Ward who played Robin alongside West.
Addressing the crowd as the “citizens of Gotham”, Mayor Garcetti said, “There will never be a Batman like Adam West – and there will never be another Adam West.”

The West family also showed their appreciation prior to the tribute.
We're so touched by this. Hope to see you there. https://t.co/I6mZBFfrdW
