Hugh Jackman may have hung up his claws as Logan/Wolverine for the time being, but another actor is stepping into his shoes in the same role in a different media.
Richard Armitage, best known for playing Thorin in The Hobbit trilogy as well as roles on Hannibal and Castlevania, will play Logan in a new podcast series being developed by Marvel.
'Wolverine: The Long Night' will centre around Logan as two agents - voiced by Celia Keenan-Bolger and Ato Essandoh - attempts to uncover the truth behind a series of murders in a remote Alaskan town.
The official synopsis reads:
"The story begins with two agents, Sally Pierce (Celia Keenan-Bolger) and Tad Marshall (Ato Essandoh), who arrive in the fictional town of Burns, Alaska, to investigate a series of murders. The duo team up with deputy Bobby Reid (Andrew Keenan-Bolger) to investigate their main suspect, Logan (Armitage), but that’s just the tip of the iceberg."
