The new Mad Max movie is going to be a blockbuster for sure. It has just been announced that Mad Max: Fury Road will hit our screens in summer 2015.
I know it's quite a long time to wait to see Hot Hardy (that's Tom Hardy for those not in the know) in all his glory as the titular character but this release time means that the new installment will come 30 years after the last movie in the series that starred Mel Gibson. Intentional move or quality control?
Well, the project has been pushed back numerous times already - it was originally planned to be released in 2010 - and it has had several re-shoots, so in short, let's just hope it's not a total disaster when it opens.
Director of the original George Miller is back behind the camera for the reboot which will co-star Nicolas Hoult, Zoë Kravitz, Riley Keough, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Charlize Theron (who is the new Tina Turner as far as I can gather. Cool.).
