You may have heard that our dear neighbours in the U.K have been experiencing some tough political times recently. In what came as shock to no-one, Brexit hasn’t quite turned out as some of them might have hoped.
As we reported previously, HBO have made a drama about the whole shitstorm starring Benedict Cumberbatch, imaginatively titled ‘Brexit’.
The movie follows the life of Dominic Cummings, played by Sherlock star Cumberbatch, the real-life leader of the victorious Leave campaign and the man behind the now infamous slogan that urged the British people to ‘Take Back Control’. In the trailer, Cummings causes controversy by asking “Is it immigration? You can be honest. Is it race? Which countries don’t you like?”
According to HBO the movie- “goes behind the scenes, revealing the personalities, strategies and feuds of the Leave and Remain campaigns.”
The release of the trailer was controversial in that Remainers want an investigation into the Leave campaign and fear the movie might interfere with any future criminal proceedings.
With no end to the Brexit mess in sight, there’s no danger of anyone spoiling the ending for you. Watch the trailer here:
