In case you didn't read it, we had Idris Elba, Joel Edgerton, Aidan Turner, Damian Lewis, Max Irons and James McAvoy in the running and you can read the full article here.

We also put a poll out to see who people thought would be good for the role and, unsurprisingly, the response was fairly slanted in one way. A whopping 28% of respondents wanted Daniel Craig to continue on in the role, if he was still up for it.

The next possible choice was Idris Elba at 18% with James McAvoy trailing at 14% in third place. Ireland's own Aidan Turner, meanwhile, got 11% of the vote whilst Joel Edgerton narrowly followed with 10% of the vote.

Sadly, Max Irons and Damian Lewis were in the single digits with 4% and 3%. Here's the results in full below. Big thanks to all 10,987 of you who voted!
