One of the biggest TV and movie awards ceremonies out there (can't forget about the Oscars now) has just announced their nominations.
The 2019 Golden Globes nominations came, as with every year, with surprises, snubs and other more predictable outcomes.
A few thoughts? Great to see 'Black Panther' getting some nominations in there. But is anyone else baffled by the fact that neither 'Bohemian Rhapsody' or 'A Star is Born' are considered musicals?
For Irish considerations, sadly no love for Saoirse Ronan of 'Mary Queen of Scots'. However, the Irish-produced 'The Favourite' earned five nods. Plus Catriona Balfe will be waving the flag as she has been nominated for 'Outlander'.
