Ever wonder what it'd be like to don Superman's spandex suit? We'd say you'd feel pretty awesome in it. Hell, it even managed to make Nicolas Cage look... not crazy. Though in real life, it's probably not going to help you fly off the roof of your shed so if you do happen to get your hands on one, don't try it on if you're under any kind of alcoholic influence. That's a warning right there.
One man lucky enough to squeeze himself into the suit (well it's less him squeezing into it and more it bending and curving around his calculus graph-like abs), is Superman himself - Henry Cavill. In an exclusive interview with Total Film, Cavill opens up about just how deadly it felt to become one of history's greatest comic book heroes for Man of Steel.
"I loved wearing the suit! You put it on every morning and you feel fantastic. I mean, you're wearing a Superman suit, for goodness sake!"
TF then asked him about the significance of playing such an important and much loved character:
"This is not a movie about Zack Snyder directing something, or Henry Cavill playing a character… it's a selfless movie about a character who is going through what he is going through. He wants to do the right thing, but he's fallible, like the rest of us. He messes up, and that makes us love him more."
More on that in Total Film's next magazine, out now! Man of Steel hits Irish cinemas on June 14th.
