Two sequels to 2018's brilliant 'Halloween' are on the way in 2020 and 2021.

The announcement was made yesterday at San Diego Comic-Con, where David Gordon Green and the producers of 'Halloween' confirmed that 'Halloween Kills' and 'Halloween Ends' will arrive in cinemas on October 16th, 2020 and October 15th, 2021.

Plot details are light, but it's confirmed that Jamie Lee Curtis is set to return as Laurie Strode in both movies, along with Judy Greer and Andi Matichak as her daughter and granddaughter, respectively.

The finale of 'Halloween' saw Laurie Strode burn down her house after trapping Michael Myers inside, however a post-credits scene seemed to indicate that Michael survived and now that there's two sequels on the way, you can expect more bloodshed and synths.

The 2018 sequel was the highest-grossing of the franchise, which began in 1978 with John Carpenter's movie of the same name. The two sequels are set to be directed by David Gordon Green, with Danny McBride co-writing the script on both movies.
