After weeks and weeks of speculation, movie producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura announced to Beijing News that there will indeed be Dinobots in the new Transformers movie, which doesn't have an official title yet, but if they don't go with Trans4mers, then they’re really missing a trick!

Director Michael Bay has remained (out of character) quiet on the whole thing, but he is one of the few original team-members returning to the series. Gone are Shia LaBeouf and co., in comes Mark Wahlberg as a struggling inventor, Nicola Peltz as his daughter, and Irish legend Jack Reynor as her race-car driving boyfriend.

Set four years after the Invasion Of Chicago seen in Transformers: Dark Of The Moon, very few actual plot details have been revealed, although there has been some on-set footage of stuff blowing up!

But the real question here is… how on Earth are they gonna fit in the Dinobots into the series now? Dinobots, in case you couldn't figure it out, are robots that then transform into robot dinosaurs, including the T-Rex lookalike leader. But don't they have to scan a pre-existing thing before they can transform into them, like the Autobots do with the cars? Or are we thinking too much about this?

Should we just be happy that we are potentially getting a movie with giant robot dinosaurs and alien cars and explosions and be happy about it?

Yeah, we're gonna go with that last one. Trans4mers (that's it, we're calling it that from now on) is due in cinemas on June 27th 2014.
