Although the movie has been officially pulled by Sony off the back of threats from the group that are claiming responsibility for the hack, Guardians of Peace, there's at least one cinema owner who is willing to stand up to them and show the flick.
The author of Game of Thrones, George R.R. Martin, has offered the use of his theater to show The Interview, the movie starring James Franco and Seth Rogen that shows the pair involved in a plot to kill North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un.
While some theaters have said that they'll show Team America instead, Martin, who owns the Jean Cocteau Cinema in Santa Fe, New Mexico, has stated that he's happy to show the movie.
Never one to mince his words, Martin angrily posted on his LiveJournal page about the movie being pulled from cinemas, saying "the level of corporate cowardice here astonishes me. It's a good thing these guys weren't around when Charlie Chaplin made THE GREAT DICTATOR. If Kim Jong-Un scares them, Adolf Hitler would have had them shitting in their smallclothes."
Martin invited Rogen and Franco to come to New Mexico and host their premiere there, but as yet we're not sure if they've taken him up on the offer. After seeing the 'Red Wedding', we're not sure we'd ever like to go to one of Martin's parties...
