Having done the superhero thing, Gal Gadot is next turning to espionage.
The 'Wonder Woman' star is in talks to star in a spy thriller from Skydance.
The untitled movie is reportedly akin to action franchises like 'James Bond' and 'Mission: Impossible'.
It has a writer attached in Greg Rucka. He recently made his screenwriting movie debut adapting his comic book series 'The Old Guard' for Netflix.
Rucka is also known for his work on 'Action Comics', 'Stumptown', 'Wonder Woman', 'Batwoman', 'Detective Comics', 'Lazarus', 'Whiteout', and 'Black Magick'.
Plot details for the new movie are mostly unknown. A source told Discussing Film that it might be a “Spy v Spy” movie.
If Gal Gadot signs on, she will also produce the project.
It is one of many projects the actress has in the pipeline.
Her upcoming films include the Zack Snyder cut of 'Justice League', 'Murder on the Orient Express' sequel 'Death on the Nile', and 'Wonder Woman 1984.'
She'll also star opposite Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds in Netflix movie 'Red Notice', for which filming has been postponed.
You can see her on the small screen too in the titular role of a Hedy Lamarr in a biopic series for Apple TV+.
