Disneyland visitors discovered that it really is a small world after all when they spotted none other than Tom Hanks in the theme park on November 6th.
Hanks wasn't there to enjoy the rides, though. We've nabbed a few images floating around the internet, showing the Forrest Gump actor hard at work as Walt Disney himself on the set of the upcoming drama, Saving Mr Banks. The film tells the tale of Disney's pursuit to secure the rights to Mary Poppins. Author P.L Travers wasn't so sure about handing over her deeply personal story to the studio and was apparently dissatisfied with some aspects of the film.
Emma Thompson plays the Australian author and our own Colin Farrell is billed alongside Sideways star Paul Giammati. John Lee Hancock, director of the Academy Award winning movie The Blind Side, is at the helm. Saving Mr Banks hits cinemas Stateside in December 2013 and this is one we're most excited for.
