Principal photography has officially begun on ‘It Chapter Two’, the highly anticipated sequel to last year’s hit horror. To mark it, Warner Bros. have released a first look image of the adult cast members who will be playing the grown-up versions of the Loser Club, and it has us more excited than ever.
Andy Muschietti is returning to direct the film based on Stephen King’s novel. Gary Dauberman, who wrote the screenplay for 2017’s ‘It’ as well as ‘Annabelle: Creation’, is penning the follow-up.
As previously reported, new additions to the cast include Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy and Bill Hader, who will respectively play Beverly, Bill and Richie.
Other members of the adult Loser cast, who are pictured below, include Isaiah Mustafa (TV’s ‘Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments’) as Mike, Jay Ryan (‘Mary Kills People’) as Ben, James Ransone (‘The Wire’) as Eddie, and Andy Bean (‘Allegiant,’ ‘Power’) as Stanley.
Those who loved the kids of last year’s hit will be excited to hear that the young cast members – who include Jaeden Lieberher, Wyatt Oleff, Sophia Lillis, ‘Stranger Things’ star Finn Wolfhard, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Chosen Jacobs, and Jack Dylan Grazer – will be reprising their roles in the sequel.
Last week, we learned that the grown-up version of bully Henry Bowers has also been cast.
