Henry Cavill is ditching the cape for a monocle and pipe. Or whatever it is Sherlock Holmes wears in this latest adaptation.
With DC behind him, Henry Cavill has set his sights on his next project.
But this isn't just another Sherlock Holmes movie.
Rather, the project is based on 'The Enola Holmes Mysteries' series by Nancy Springer which launched in 2006.
The books focus on Sherlock and Mycroft's teenaged sister, who is twenty years his junior and not famous like his is. The brothers insist that she goes to a fancy school to be a lady (it's not set in the modern day). However she runs off to solve cases instead.
They've picked the perfect young actress to play Enola in 'Stranger Things' star Millie Bobby Brown. Brown is producing the feature as well, alongside sister Paige.
Jack Thorne is set to pen the script. 'Fleabag' and 'Killing Eve' veteran Harry Bradbeer is in the director's chair.
Helena Bonham Carter is aboard to play Enola's mother.
Cavill is also due to lead 'The Witcher' Netflix series which hits the streaming service at the end of the year.
