When is it ever appropriate to talk about Christmas in June? When Elf The Musical has been announced as the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre's Christmas Show, that's when! Which it has been. Yay!
We are at Buddy levels of excitement right now but we'll calm down enough to tell you that Elf The Musical will be running from December 16 - January 10 2015 in Dublin's Bord Gáis Energy Theatre.
Elf, starring Will Ferrell, is one of our favourite movies ever. It's a Christmas movie but we would watch it in summer. In fact, we might just watch it after work today. Hurry up, time!
In case you didn't know, it tells the tale of Buddy, a human who lives his life as an elf in the North Pole. Once he realises he doesn't quite fit into the elf mould, he embarks on an adventure to find his birth dad and help New York find the true meaning of Christmas along the way. Full of yule-tide cheer and absolutely hilarious to boot, we can't wait for the musical version to hit Dublin this December.
