Justin Lin, the man who has directed the last two instalments in The Fast and the Furious franchise, has been tapped as the chap who will bring Highlander back to life. The director will reportedly helm a reboot of the once popular series, with no cast yet approached about a role in this early stage. Lin, well, Lin isn't a very good director at all; the man actually personifies blandness in action cinema, and is very much from the Brett Ratner, point and shoot school of filmmaking. That said, you never know; he might have some talent hidden somewhere. As for the new Connor MacLeod, Gerard Butler anyone?
