Universal Pictures has released a fresh new trailer for the upcoming action movie.
Later this year, the ninth entry in the 'Furious' franchise will be released, entitled 'Fast & Furious 9: The Fast Saga'. And we hope you like explosions, high-speed car chases, and *checks script* magnets - because the second trailer for the movie has just dropped and is full of gravity-defying action.
'F9' sees the return of Justin Lin as director, who helmed the third, fourth, fifth and sixth chapters of the series. From London to Tokyo, and Central America to Edinburgh, the action has been ramped up for the new entry.
As previously reported, 'F9' will be going into space, and as we can see in the final moments of the trailer below, the movie does seem to hit dizzying new heights.
Joining Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez will be Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, John Cena, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Helen Mirren, Kurt Russell, and Charlize Theron. Han Lue, played by Sung Kang, will also rejoin the cast for 'F9'. His character previously appeared in 'Furious 7'. Cardi B is also believed to have a role in the movie.
Here's the new, extra-long trailer for the movie.
Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena).
'Fast & Furious 9: The Fast Saga' will hit Irish cinemas on July 8.
