Nine Fast and Furious movies, folks. Craziness. Anyway, Fast and Furious 9 has now been scheduled into the slate for April 10th, 2020 and none other than Tyrese Gibson is very, very upset about the delay. In an Instagram post yesterday evening, Gibson made his feelings known and his displeasure with The Rock - something that he's spoken about before.

"Congratulations to @TheRock and your brother in law aka 7 bucks producing partner @hhgarcia41 for making the fast and the furious franchise about YOU - And like you, DJ even if they call I will not be deleting this post - Gn folks see you in 2020 April #FastFamily right? Nah..... it's about #TeamDewayne #3yrs will it be worth the wait? #NoShaw just Hobbs will this be another #BayWatch? Guys guys just relax I'm just a passionate film critic."

Did you get any of that? So, we're guessing Tyrese is angry because The Rock is... a bigger star, perhaps? And is also confirming that Jason Statham won't be back? #NoShaw tells us that. He also think it'll be like Baywatch. Right, OK. And now Tyrese Gibson is a passionate film critic. Buddy, we've been doing this thing for twenty years - it's not a cakewalk like everybody thinks it is.

You have to sit through nine Fast and Furious movies, like. So, doubling down on his anger, Tyrese released another Instagram post with far fewer hashtags and contractions, explaining why he was so angry with The Rock. Strap yourselves in because Tyrese is going deep.

"Diversity, love, multi ethnic worldwide multi generational, United Nations, One Race, Fast Family...... Until Dewayne showed up I guess this whole time he had a problem cause he wasn't the ONLY ONE on the movie poster........... I guess dreams do come true congratulations to @hhgarcia41 and @therock you guys are just amazing you really broke up the #FastFamily I tried to warn you guys... You thought I was hating...... I was simply fighting to keep the family together what makes us great is when you see us all TOGETHER we don't fly solo..... #MyLastPost today..... So, yeah, it seems like Tyrese is annoyed that The Rock accepted an offer of making a spinoff for his character, Hobbs, and that it's disrespecting the canon of Fast and Furious 9. What's more, Tyrese claims that he and Ludacris were offered their own spinoff and refused because - in his own words - "we don't fly solo."

But they're cars. They don't fly. So far, The Rock hasn't responded to Tyrese's claims of hating, but expect this to be only the beginning.
