Emma Stone is in talks to play one of Disney's most iconic villains.
The popular actress is close to signing on for the titular role in 'Cruella,' where she'd portray agro dalmatian hater Cruella de Vil.
Fifty Shades of Grey and Saving Mr. Banks writer Kelly Marcel has penned the script while the film is looking for a director to tackle what would ultimately be an origins tale.
Stone has the musical comedy La La Land with Ryan Gosling due this year, and last starred in the much-maligned Aloha.
She's also slated to star in a film from the man who brought us The Lobster, Yorgos Lanthimos - The Favourite - with Rachel Weisz.
