He didn't have much luck with nabbing that Star Wars role (mind you, he still could, they only began casting yesterday) and now it seems The Rock has moved on to more classic, Rock-esque fare; he's got his mince pies on a role in Terminator 5.
Could you think of a more perfect fit for Dwayne Johnson? No, neither could we. And if there was anyone to stand alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and not look like a total petunia, it'd be him. Here's hoping they'd get on though, could you imagine the - *whispers* - d*ck measuring/pissing contests that'd arise if they didn't?
According to The Examiner, the big friendly giant is already in talks to join the cast on the movie that's alleged to take place in the 40s and 50s and centre on the Connor family.
As for Arnie and Dwayne's roles? Well Arnie may not play a robot at all. The Examiner claim he'll play a friend close to the Connor family who helps defend them against The Rock's would-be bad guy who's tasked with the job of killing the Connors.
