Domhnall Gleeson's dance card is filling up pretty nicely in the coming months.
As well as returning to a little film series called Star Wars as the Peter Cushing-lite General Hux, Gleeson has also signed on to star in David Wain's National Lampoon biopic A Futile Gesture as one of the founders of the comedy institution. Not only that, he's also got work lined up with fellow countryman Lenny Abrahamson AND he's also starring alongside Tom Cruise in Mena, an upcoming film by Doug Liman about drug smugglers in the '80s.
Before he's off annihilating entire planets or getting involved in high stakes drug wars, Gleeson will be playing the creator of one of the world's most enduring childhood characters, namely AA Milne and Winnie The Pooh.
The film will follow the creation of Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and the Hundred Acre Wood, as well as the somewhat tumultuous relationship between Milne and his son / inspiration, Christopher Robin Milne.
No release date has been scheduled as of yet, but it's understood that Goodbye Christopher Robin is expected for a 2017 release.
