Sorry about the title pun, but now that we've got all the poor word-play out of the way, we can focus on these two extremely talented men and their fantastic new movie, Frank. In case you could tell, we really REALLY liked it (read our review), and we couldn't wait to talk to the guys involved about it.
We covered everything from their initial reactions to reading the script, directing and acting against a guy in a giant mask, filming in SXSW (they didn't, as it turned out; movie magic!), how they found day to day inspiration while filming, their opinion on the current wave of Irish cinema and talent... and, OF COURSE, we couldn't let Domhnall go without asking him about Star Wars Episode VII.
