Indiana Jones may ride again but if he does he will be donning a pair of Mickey Mouse ears (virtual, we hope). Disney has bought the rights to the much-loved action franchise; however, they have no immediate plans to actually make an Indy movie.
The fourth Indiana Jones installment, Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull, did extremely well at the box office but was not exactly embraced by critics and fans, especially since Shia LaBeouf was in it (or maybe that's just us?)
Despite that, Karen Allen, who plays Indy's gal-pal Marion Ravenwood, said last year that the films' star Harrison Ford and director Steven Spielberg were both up for a new movie but that it was up to George Lucas 'to write the script or to get the script organised, and the story'.
We just hope that a fifth Indy film doesn't involve Daddy issues or feature aliens in any shape or form. Take note Disney!
