Cameron Diaz is in talks for the lead female role in The Green Hornet, opposite Seth Rogen. Rogen penned the film with his writing partner Evan Goldberg, and Stephen Chow was attached to direct and play Kato; but when Chow pulled out of helming duties, Michel Gondry came aboard and the film is now ready to roll, which Chow apparently still attached as Kato, but obviously not helming. Rogen has been pushing for this project for years, so it's cool to see it finally come together properly, while Diaz obviously adds some eye-candy to proceedings - never a bad thing for box-office receipts. We should see this one next summer some time.
