Well, it looks as though one blockbuster a year might just not be enough for Henry Cavill, with rumours abound that he's being lined up to replace Tom Cruise in The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
You might remember that we told you Tom had dropped out of Guy Ritchie's adaptation of the hit TV series earlier in the week, to focus on other projects like Mission: Impossible 5. Warner seems eager to find a new partner for Armie Hammer now, and Variety reports that they're already considering Cavill as a potential replacement. If they can secure him in time, shooting on the production could go ahead this year as planned.
We did say replacing the likes of Tom wouldn't be easy, but if Man of Steel lives up to the hype, we could actually see Henry doing a decent enough job. And to think he was playing second fiddle to our own Jonathan Rhys Meyers in The Tudors only a few years back...
