We thought we were done with award season here in entertainment.ie. Nope! Not quite. Yesterday, the nominations came in for the second annual Comedy Awards, run by American Television Network Comedy Central. Well at least these ones will give us a laugh! The Comedy Awards were established to recognise the best that comedy has offered in TV and film over the last year. As expected, Bridesmaids and Crazy Stupid Love are leading the nominations with regards to the film categories, while Modern Family and 30 Rock are stealing the show - literally - for TV. With The Artist having already scooped every single other award on the planet, we're hoping these particular awards give a chance to something else. The Other Guys were voted Best Comedy Film last year.
