In some genuinely great news, In Bruges, writer/director Martin McDonagh and Colin Farrell will re-team for the black comedy, Seven Psychopaths, reports trade paper Variety.
If that wasn't exciting enough after the brilliant 'Burges', Sam Rockwell, Christopher Walken and Mickey Rourke will also appear in the film. Farrell will play a struggling screenwriter looking for motivation, who is drawn into the dog kidnapping schemes of his friends (Rockwell and Walken). Rourke will play a thug who gets pissed off when his dog goes missing.
McDonagh has taken his time following up his Oscar nomination for In Bruges - he got one of the best performances of Farrell's career with that film - so this is no rushed script. The rest of that cast alone would be reason for excitement, but given the package this is even better news. Farrell is just about to start shooting the $200 million blockbuster, Total Recall.
