Cillian Murphy is continuing his recent trend of balancing supporting roles in blockbusters with more independent flicks, as he is set to star in the low budgeted thriller, Wayfaring Strangers.
Irish director Stephen Bradley (Boy Eats Girl) will helm the flick, about a group of British paratroopers captured by German soldiers in a remote farmhouse, where a young Jewish couple are hiding. According to Variety, Michael Gambon is also in advanced negotiations to star in the film.
Murphy is doing some great work lately, and even his roles in bigger films are interesting - Inception, Tron: Legacy. Shooting on 'Strangers' will kick off in August.
