It's one of the biggest films of the year, and Cillian Murphy undoubtedly deserves all of the plaudits he's receiving for his role as nuclear physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer in Christopher Nolan's film.
However, if you've seen it you'll be aware that there is a multitude of smaller roles in 'Oppenheimer', and some big names playing them - from Josh Hartnett to Alden Ehrenreich and Kenneth Branagh to Matthew Modine.
One of the most-talked about scenes, meanwhile, has been a sex scene with Oppenheimer and his girlfriend Jean Tatlock, played by Florence Pugh.
Pugh's role in Nolan's epic is comparatively small, but she has spoken about how the director apologised for that reason when he offered her the part.
Pugh said that she and Nolan met in New York when she was filming 'A Good Person', and that she was thrilled to work with the 'The Dark Knight' and 'Interstellar' director, regardless.
"I didn’t really know what was going on or what it was that was being made," she said. "Except I knew that Chris really, really wanted me to know that it wasn’t a very big role and he understands if I don’t want to come near it. And I was like, ‘Doesn’t matter. Even if I’m a coffee maker at a cafe in the back of the room, let’s do it.'"
She added: "I remember he apologised by the size of the role. I was like, ‘Please don’t apologise'. And then he said, ‘We’ll send you the script, and honestly, you just read it and decide if it’s like… I completely understand the sizing thing.’
"And I remember that evening when I got the script being like, ‘I don’t need to… I know I’m going to do it.’"
The film has gone on to be the fourth-highest-grossing film of 2023 so far, with just 'Barbie', 'The Super Mario Bros. Movie' and 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3' ahead of it.
