Chris Pine has spoken to Access Hollywood about the second Star Trek film.
"You pick up the characters from where they left off, and the development of the characters - I think - is just as exciting as the first one. And it's relentless. I think that's the best adjective I can use... It's just as action-packed as the first." Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, John Cho and Simon Pegg all return, as does director JJ Abrams. Newbies, Alice Eve and Benedict Cumberbatch are also on board.
The first film was a financial and critical smash for Paramount Pictures, so expect this franchise to keep going and going.
