Stephen Chow, of Kung Fu Hustle fame, has signed on to direct and co-star in The Green Hornet; after Seth Rogen recently revealed him to be first choice to play Kato, and helm the project. The legendary Bruce Lee played the crime fighter in the 60's television series, and Chow will take his idols place in the film that is due for release in the summer of 2010. Rogen has been training hard for production and looked noticeably slimmer when I interviewed him for Pineapple Express a couple of weeks ago. Sony are releasing the film, while Rogen and his long-time writing partner, Evan Goldberg will both pen and produce.
