Charlie Hunnam has finally spoken about his abrupt departure from the Fifty Shades of Grey movie. It had been speculated that he left the role because he didn't want to be another Robert Pattinson but he has exclusively revealed to E! Online that he is looking forward to starting a 'new chapter' after the death of his father who passed away this summer.
He said "I have had some family stuff going on so just trying to stay focused and stay positive and keep trying to do a good job at work and be with my family and stay positive."
He went on to say that he is doing another film with Guillermo del Toro - they last collaborated on Pacific Rim - and that he is going to concentrate on his show Sons of Anarchy.
The actor who will play Christian Grey in the downright scarily anticipated film adaptation of the steamy novel by EL James will reportedly be announced in the next few weeks. Northern Irish actor Jamie Dornan has been strongly linked to be Hunnam's replacement.
