'Spider-Man: No Way Home' is probably the most talked about Marvel movie ever; it's certainly the most anticipated 'Spider-Man' movie for Sony.
The discussion around the movie continues at break-neck speed, especially after fans of the franchise began analysing every single detail contained in the first trailer of the superhero adventure. The trailer also brought up a number of new questions and theories - one of which is whether Charlie Cox and his forearms appear in the 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' trailer.
Cox was reportedly spotted on the set of the movie during production, fuelling rumours that his MCU/Netflix character Matt Murdock/Daredevil would appear in some shape or form.
Following the release of the trailer last week, eagle-eyed fans began to draw parallels between the white-shirted man seen with Tom Holland's Peter Parker in the police station, and the vigilante who is also a district attorney at law.
Speaking with ComicBook.com about the fan theories, Cox has played down those rumours and confirmed that they are, in fact, not his arms. He said, plain and simple: "I can promise you those are not my forearms."
Last year, the actor also denied the rumours, telling the publication: "I hadn't heard those rumours, but it's certainly not with my Daredevil. I'm not involved in it. If that's true, it's not with me. It's with another actor."
With or without Daredevil involved, fans will be eagerly awaiting the movie's release this winter. The Sinister Six are believed to be the villains of the movie, following Peter and Doctor Strange seemingly unleashing the Multiverse. Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are also rumoured to be making appearances, reprising their respective 'Spider-Man' roles.
Here's the trailer for good measure, if you feel like analysing it all over again.
'Spider-Man: No Way Home' swings into cinemas on December 17.
