In casting news today, it's been confirmed that Bryce Dallas Howard - daughter of Ron Howard - will be starring in Jurassic World, the fourth installment of the Jurassic Park series. There's no word yet if Jeff Goldbum or Sam Neill will be making any kind of appearance in the film, but we do know that they're expected to start filming in the later end of the year or possibly even 2014. The film's to be directed Safety Not Guaranteed director Colin Trevorrow and is expected to have a 2015 release date.
Meanwhile, Roland Emmerich is looking to cast Chronicle-starrer Michael B. Jordan in the sequel to Independence Day. Emmerich has stated that the film will take place twenty years after the events of the first one, so it'll focus on the children of the characters in Independence Day. We think Jordan is perfect to play Will Smith's son - he'd certainly be a lot better than his actual son. Did you see After Earth?! Yeah, exactly.
