Jason Segal and Jesse Eisenberg have been confirmed for upcoming movie The End of the Tour. Segal will play David Foster Wallace in the film, which retells the events of the last five days of Wallace's Infinite Jest book tour in 1996. The film will centre on the bizarre events that took place on those days , as told by journalist David Lipsky (Eisenberg) who wrote the book Although of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself: A Road Trip with David Foster Wallace. The End of Tour will go into production in February or March of next year.
James Mc Avoy has also confirmed that he will be returning to future X Men movies as Charles Xavier and is just waiting to hear from 20th Century Fox about X-Men: Apocalypse. McAvoy will feature in the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past, 'What's great is that even though it's a sequel, even though it's a franchise, I keep getting to reinvent Charles Xavier and that's amazing,' he said. X-Men: Days of Future Past is released on May 22, 2014 with X-Men: Apocalypse expected for 2016
In other casting news Simon Pegg has joined the cast of Absolutely Anything, as a struggling teacher who discovers he has magical powers given to him by aliens. Yes, we did just say that. The film is from the cast of Monty Python Terry Jones, John Cleese, Michael Palin and Terry Gilliam who will also provide the voices of the aliens. Speaking about the film Pegg said, 'As someone whose love of comedy was hugely informed by Monty Python, the chance to work with Terry was a gift. Meeting your heroes is one thing - working with them is something else.' The film goes into production early next year.
