Brothers and Sisters star Luke Grimes has joined the cast of the sequel to one of the biggest surprise hits of the past few years, Taken, reports Variety (via Darkhorizons.com)
The superbly named Olivier Megaton (he's responsible for the last Transporter film) is helming the somewhat anticipated action follow up, where "retired CIA agent Bryan Mills (the returning and ever awesome Liam Neeson) and his ex-wife (Famke Janssen) are held hostage by the father of a kidnapper Mills killed while rescuing his daughter back in Paris." Oh, all subversive like... i'm kind of shocked there has been an effort put in script wise.
Anyhow, Grimes will play the love interest of Maggie Grace, whose character was the subject of the daring rescue in the first film. One man studio, Luc Besson, will be producing again.
