Rumours were circulating that Disney were on the look out for a new Indiana Jones and Bradley Cooper looked like the man for the job. However, today, we can report that these rumours are exactly that...rumours.
Latino Review reported that Cooper was named as a possible lead for the franchise. But since then Lucasfilm has denied the claim saying it 'isn't true'. While producer Frank Marshall, who has worked on the last four movies in the franchise, took to Twitter to rubbish the claims. 'Due to the ridiculous rumors that keep popping up, like agents pipe dreams, I will stop commenting on our projects until I have real news'. Marshall tweeted. He later followed this on with, 'I can only confirm that Katy Perry will NOT be the new Indiana Jones.'

While we are huge Bradley Cooper fans here we weren't sure if he would fit into the role once played by Harrison Ford. Disney secured the rights for the film in December so it will be interesting in the coming months to see who they get to fill Ford's shoes.
