Is the Bond Curse a thing? If so, it seems that 'Bond 25' has well and truly been struck by it.
The film has already undergone multiple delays, largely relating to Danny Boyle quitting his role as director, reportedly due to a clash with Daniel Craig on casting.
Now, filming has reportedly been suspended on Bond 25 as Craig has been injured on-set in Jamaica. The Sun claim that the actor fell while he was sprinting during a scene, and has been flown to the US for x-rays and treatment. Their source said: "He was sprinting during filming when he slipped and fell quite awkwardly. He was in quite a lot of pain and was complaining about his ankle."
They also suggest that the filming that was due to begin at Pinewood Studios in the UK this week has now been cancelled.
While an official announcement has not been made, it could well mean that the release date for the film will be pushed back for a third time. As it stands, it's due for release next April.
