In you needed some post-Christmas cheer, we can reveal that Bad Santa 2 is firmly in pre-production and the cast is taking shape.
Original star Billy Bob Thornton will be joined by an all grown up Brett Kelly in a plot that will apparently involve Thorton's tough as nails Mother (Kathy Bates) and the taking down of Christina Hendrick's charity worker.
Sounds like fun.
Mean girls director Mark Walters is calling the shots, while Entourage creator Doug Ellin had a say as one of the writers of the script.
If they embrace the foul-mouthed, nasty and general irreverent tone of the first film then we await another minor Christmas classic.
