After years of stops and starts, rumours and cancellations, 'Bad Boys For Lif3' is finally in production and has begun filming.
Taking to Instagram, Will Smith posted what appears to be copies of the script for the movie, captioning "Day 1. I’ll keep y’all posted." Smith's co-star, Martin Lawrence, also posted a throwback post on Instagram just a few days ago from 'Bad Boys'.
'Bad Boys For Lif3' was originally supposed to be directed by Joe Carnahan from his own script, but soon exited the project with a mixture of scheduling conflicts and creative differences cited as the reason why.
Since then, the whole thing appeared to be in and out of production, with Martin Lawrence even admitting that a third movie seemed entirely unlikely. It wasn't until seven months ago when upcoming directors Adi El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who directed the critically-acclaimed 'Black', were named as Carnahan's replacements.
'Bad Boys For Lif3' is expected for release on January 17th, 2020 with Vanessa Hudges, 'Riverdale' alum Charles Melton and Alexander Ludwig announced as joining the cast.
