In the last five years or so, trailer releases have become big news - almost as big as a film's opening weekend box office figures, and just as important for perceived success.
As we reported earlier this year, Stephen King's It managed to pass 197,000,000 - that's one-hundred-and-ninety-seven-MILLION - views in the space of 24 hours, breaking the previous record held by Fast And Furious 8 or Fate Of The Furious, or the one where The Rock apparently clashed with Vin Diesel and Tyrese Gibson on set.
In the space of just twenty-four hours, Avengers: Infinity War has had 230,000,000 views across YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. Two-hundred-and-thirty-MILLION.
Thank you to the best fans in the universe for making Marvel Studios' "Avengers: #InfinityWar" the most viewed trailer of all time with 230 million views in 24 hours! ðŸ'? pic.twitter.com/bWa3HZir2g

Not only that, the trailer trended across Facebook and Twitter and we even did a frame-by-frame breakdown of the trailer, too. Avengers: Infinity War hits Irish cinemas on April 27th, 2018.
