Arnold Schwarzenegger's first post Governor gig will be as the lead in the action film, The Last Stand, reports Darkhorizons, via Slash Film.

Liam Neeson was previously attached to the flick about "a lone border sheriff tasked with stopping an escaped drug dealer from crossing into Mexico in a super car." Arnie was seemingly attached to non action project, Cry Macho, but that was put on hold when the scandal about all his riding came out. He has since been keeping a low profile, and Terminator 5 now looks extremely unlikely to happen anytime soon - despite the involvement of Fast 5 director Justin Lin.

Kim Ji-Woon will make his English language feature debut with the film, while Schwarzenegger is extremely close to signing the deal.
