Anthony Hopkins has joined the new Thor movie. According to Variety, “Hopkins will play Odin, the king of Asgard and the father of Thor and Loki." Newbie, Chris Hemsworth, is playing Thor, while Tom Hiddelston will plays his nemesis, Loki. The film is being directed by British thespian/helmer Kenneth Branagh - which I'm still not really sold on. Natile Portman has already joined the film as a love interest, while rumours that Robert De Niro and Jude Law were in line for parts have so far gone without confirmation.
